f�rmaco depende unicamente de seu mecanismo de a��o e n�o da vontade
do m�dico, do farmac�utico, do fabricante, do pai-de-santo� </div>

Um f�rmaco prescrito por um m�dico ou por um pai-de-santo far�,
obrigatoriamente, o mesmo efeito no usu�rio e portanto, a
automedica��o n�o far� nada, al�m do que uma prescri��o m�dica possa
fazer. Vejam o exemplo do cantor Michel Jackson, cujo m�dico
particular � o principal suspeito de ser o respons�vel pela sua
morte, pois lhe prescrevia os f�rmacos que o cantor lhe pagava para
prescrever, sustentando-lhe a depend�ncia qu�mica. </div>
